The wonder of sandwiches

So, remember when this used to be a blog about losing weight?  C'mon really cast your mind back...yes...bit further....there we go!

Well, in the last two weeks this little piggy has managed to lose five pounds.  Which, in turn, has earned me five stars on my star chart.

I love a star chart.

I put all my success down to sandwiches.  Yes, that's right.  As I said to D recently, I think a good 75% of my meals lately have been sandwich-centric.

It's not very exciting - certainly it wouldn't make for good reading for you, dearest blog followers.

But I am here and I am keeping on keeping on.

  1. Well done you! I have a love/hate relationship with sandwiches. A really good one is brilliant, but if I have them every day for more than a week for my lunch I rapidly lose the will to live!

    1. Lol - the thing with me is, I always try to come up with more exciting lunches and then when noon rolls around am generally disappointed that it is not a sandwich! I'm truly obsessed....

  2. Hurrah for you! That's fantastic! I have one sandwich a week as I leave work at 1.45 on a Thursday without having had a lunch break, so it's the easiest thing to eat on the tube. I couldn't eat them every day though, but I'm so glad it's working for you :)

    1. You are the queen of exciting lunches - am always so impressed with the variety you manage in the course of one week! And then there's me with my tuna mayo and cucumber.... :-)

  3. Sounds like you could write a dieting book on losing weight on the sarnie! I do love them (a good one made by me) - but fear them too.

Congratulations on such a brilliant loss.

    1. Yes, like the Slimfast plan! Sandwich for breakfast, one for lunch and then a "regular" dinner...I think it could catch on you know...
