Walking in a winter wonderland

This weekend saw me make my inaugural trip to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. I don't know how on Earth this has passed me by before; basically a Christmassy themed fairground where it is de rigeuer to wander round with a plastic glass of mulled wine clutched in one hand and a Bavarian bratwurst in the other - a very me sort of place.

  1. Some of my friends have been and loved it! I'm quite jealous as Sheffield Christmas market is, frankly, rubbish.

    1. It was lovely - but not particularly child friendly which surprised me since there were a lot of young families there!

We have a Christmas market here in Leeds which I have never yet been to...must get round to it one year...

  2. We went the first year it was open and it was RUBBISH - completely put me off. Just fairground rides and nasty looking fast food. Sounds like it's improved since then.

    1. I hope it has improved since then...there is always the possibility that I just have trashy tastes when it comes to anything Christmassy :-))
